Acupuncture

Yang Institute offers acupuncture treatment to open blocked energy channels, facilitate the flow of qi, and established patients’ energetic balances. Our Chinese Medicine Health and Wellness Program is designed to help people improve their physical and mental function, and relieve pain and stress by facilitating, balancing, redirecting, and replenishing the flow of the body's vital energy.

A Time Tested Healing Art for Mental and Physical Health

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Based on our comprehensive Chinese medicine evaluation, the strategically formulated herbal remedies supplement the body’s deficient energy (Qi), remove the stagnation of Qi and blood, remove toxins, and restore the body’s energetic homeostasis. Chinese herbal medicine is an energetic agent that treats both acute and chronic illness, promotes health, and helps one age gracefully.

Our Comprehensive Chinese Medicine Services

Cupping

Cupping helps to stimulate the flow of blood and energy, break up obstructions, and create a channel for toxins to be extracted from the patient’s bodies.

Moxibustion

It helps stimulate blood and energy flow, and maintain general health. Yang Institute’s acupuncturists may use moxibustion for people suffering from a cold, stagnant condition, or Qi deficiency.

Acupressure

Acupressure is a manual treatment that uses the same diagnosis and acupuncture points as acupuncture uses except using the gentle but firm pressure of the hands.

Facial Acupuncture

Facial, scalp and ear acupuncture are special techniques we use at Yang Institute. Although all are capable of treating a variety of health problems, scalp acupuncture is most effective for treating neurological and psychiatric conditions, while ear acupuncture is very helpful for weight loss, pain, and addiction including smoking cessation.
